Rich Peverley ‘ need for a few days ‘

BOSTON-Bruins forward New York Islanders as he continued to oppose what the team called the injury is not known.

Peverley has lost some of the most recent practice but he did not play against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday.

"He needs a couple of days," coach Claude Julien said before the Bruins defeated the Isles 6-2. "He played the last game but it didn't get better, so we will allow him to take a few days."

With Peverley out, Benoit Pouliot was in the lineup against the population. He scored the first goal of the Boston game. In 12 games this season, Peverley has three goals and four assists for seven points, along with a value of minus-1. Pouliot was not registered a point in eight games and holds a value of minus-3.

Pouliot drove on the left side during the team's morning skate on Monday at TD Garden along with Center Jordan Caron.
